May 1, 2014 - A popular event presented by WQLN returns for it's fifth year and with some changes. It’s called Gears to Beers. The concept is simple; after a fun and scenic bike ride you are treated to drinks at Sprague Farm and Brew Works. This year there is a 25 mile bee-line ride from WQLN to the Sprague Farm, and the a 40 mile loop route that begins and ends at Sprague Farm. All participants will receive a commemorative Gears to Beers t-shirt and snacks and beer sampling.
The ride will take place Saturday May 3rd, rain or shine. It’s $30- in advance and $40 the day of the ride. All proceeds benefit WQLN public media.
