August 20, 2014 - If your kids need a haircut before heading back to school, a new barber shop is donating their time and resources. Xclusive Cutz and Stylez opened on East Avenue in Erie a week and a half ago and they're already giving back to the community.

On Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. there will be five barbers available to give the kids a fresh haircut to start their school year. The company will try to get a cosmetologist there for the young ladies as well.

The owner hopes to help those less fortunate. "'Cause a lot of people in this neighborhood and area don't have a lot of money so I grew up here my whole life so I know it's been hard and so I just want to pass it on," Ronald Miller, owner of Xclusive Cutz, said.

In addition to free haircuts there will also be food, drinks, and music for the kids.
