Parents Hope to Learn How to Talk About Drugs to Their Children

- May 28th, 2014

Summer break is almost here for area students.
A time of fun and relaxation for some.
But for many parents, it's also a time of worry.

In today's busy world, parents don't always have the time to monitor their children as closely as they'd like.
That's why the Erie County's DA's office, the Attorney General's Office and the Corry School District held a parents only community drug awareness program tonight at the Corry Area Middle and High School auditorium.

The purpose of tonight's program was to educate and help parents be better prepared to talk to their children about drugs and drug problems.
Officials believe that if they can turn even just one child away from drug use the program will be a success.
