PennDOT, Safety Partners to Hold Regional Teen Driving Competitions

- Oil City – PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA), the Erie Health Department’s Highway Safety Coordinator, and area schools, agencies, law enforcement and business partners will hold three Regional Teen Driving Competitions in northwestern Pennsylvania next week.

Each competition will include a slow-drive skills test, written exam, perception test and a pre-trip vehicle examination. The events will also feature information on the dangers of texting and driving, and a demonstration on sharing the road with tractor-trailers.

Monday, April 7 – Erie County Competition – 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tuesday, April 8 – Crawford County Competition - 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wednesday, April 9 – Venango/Forest County Competition – 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
