PennDOT Winter Driving Tips

We are still waiting for the first full blast of winter weather, but one thing is for sure, it will happen eventually.

Last year at this time we already had 13 inches of snow.

So far this season, only two inches of snow.

Despite the slow start, crews at PennDOT are getting ready for the first big storm.

While they say they are prepared to hit the streets, they also want drivers to remember the rules of the road.

"Maintain a safe clearance space especially when following a plow. Be aware of the road conditions, slow down and be safe," says Acting Assistant County Manager Jesse Williams.
