"Trout season really is time for people to get together. Catching a fish can be a memorable experience for kids so why not have a great day doing it," TREC Educator Brian Gula said.
On April 16th from 8am-2pm everyone is welcome to meet at the East Water Works Pond for some fishing.
The Sons of Lake Erie and DCNR have set up the event. All poles and bait are available and the event is free.
There will also be an exciting bird exhibit--The Raptor Experience at the Tom Ridge Center...featuring live birds! That runs from 9am-2pm.
