Principal Berates Students at Assembly

A principal shocks a community after allegedly berating students at a high school assembly. Parent and student sources tell us that Elk Valley Elementary Principal Mike Trudnowski spoke at an assembly at Girard High School on Monday that left students feeling shameful.

All of grades nine through twelve at Girard were asked to report to a mandatory assembly in which Trudnowski allegedly berated the students on their state exam rankings compared to those at Fairview.

According to a Girard parent, the students were not given any notice to the assembly, and had no chance to ask questions they were also said to be criticized for their lack of public service in the community.

Superintendent Doctor James Tracy has will speak with WJET/WFXP on the matter tomorrow.
