Erie, Pennsylvania -
February 4, 2014 - City council is set to meet Wednesday morning with a full agenda and one item addressing the delinquent garbage fees.
City councilman Bob Merski Jr. is sponsoring a resolution for the city solicitor to research the feasibility of requiring all landlords to be current with all taxes and fees.
That resolution stems from the millions of dollars owed by city residents for the delinquent fees.
Merski says he doesn’t want the issue to be pushed to the back burner and is taking proactive steps to try and solve the problem.
Council meets at 9am in Bagnoni Chambers at City Hall.
It's time for the 18th season of 8 Great Tuesdays!
