There will be snow, crisp night air and hopefully some wildlife to see as we strap on our boots for a night hike.
That's an event planned for Presque Isle this coming Wednesday night.
It's all part of things to do in the winter months on Presque Isle, otherwise known as PI 365.
If you're looking for an adventure, there's an event that's coming up next Wednesday night on the peninsula.
It?s the night hike on Presque Isle, a walk down the snow covered trails while breathing the crisp night air, all in all, about a mile and a half hike.
The owls and deer are active this time of year, and hopefully they'll make a showing during the night hike.
The night hike will take place Wednesday, January 19th from 6:00pm until 7:30pm.
You should dress for the weather.
There will also be a rare tour of the lighthouse this year.
Twelve people will be selected from a drawing to tour the historic building, that?s home to the park manager.
The lucky winners can bring one guest.
You can start registering to win the tour Saturday, January 15th.
The tour will be held on May 29th.
Come in to the T.R.E.C center and fill out a registration form.
You can enter once a day
