If you and the family like hikes, wildflowers and finding frogs, we have a spring walk that's perfect for you.

Erie Bluffs State Park is home to peaceful walking trails and places to hike.
Coming up on May 11th, you have the chance to join an environmental educator for a trip through the trails of the park.

You'll be looking for, and maybe even catching, frogs and salamanders in some cool places.

Emily Hauser, environmental educator, says: "Vernal fancy for mud puddle they are temporary water pools that show up in forested areas in spring. They're a habitat for frogs and salamanders."

And the bluffs provide a great view of the wildflowers this time of year.

Emily, "We have red and white, loads of Tiger lilies which are cool and those are blanketing the bluffs out here. It's going to be beautiful."

Jessica Starr,, says: "This hike is family friendly, make sure to bring your hiking shoes, it'll be about a 3 mile walk."

Emily, "No registration required. Meet at the upper parking lot. There will be park educators there to meet you and take you on a hike."
