4-6 medium-sized baking apples, cored and thinly sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 Tablespoons flour
1 cup quick – cooking oats
¼ cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
½ teaspoon cinnamon
· Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Spray a 9inch square metal or glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
· Mix the apples, cinnamon, and flour together and spoon into baking dish.
· In a small bowl, mix the topping ingredients until crumbly, and sprinkle over the fruit mixture.
· Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until fruit is soft and topping is golden brown.
Serve with ice cream or top with whipped topping and drizzle with caramel sauce.
