1 cup water
1 cup sugar
12 oz fresh cranberries
½ cup apricot preserves
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
8 oz block of cream cheese
· Combine sugar and water in saucepan over medium heat.
· Bring to a boil and add cranberries.
· Add apricot preserves and lemon juice and stir.
· Cool mixture
· Spoon over cream cheese and sprinkle with almonds.
· Serve with crackers.
