For the Big Game or any day, you can make this dip a healthier one with just a few small substitutions.
2 cups cooked diced or shredded chicken
8 oz cream cheese (use low fat or fat free to reduce calories and fat)
½ cup Blue Cheese salad dressing (use low fat or fat free to reduce calories and fat)
½ cup hot sauce or wing sauce
½ cup shredded cheese (use low fat or fat free to reduce calories and fat)
· Combine all ingredients
· Spread into 8 or 9 inch baking dish
· Bake in oven (preheated to 350 degrees) for 30 minutes
· Serve warm with crackers, toasted bread, or low fat tortilla chips
Original recipe = 195 calories per ½ cup serving
Lower fat recipe = 98 calories per ½ cup serving
