GREENSBORO, NC - November 14, 2017 (GREENSBORO, N.C.) – The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, suffered a 123-108 setback to the Erie BayHawks at the Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex on Tuesday night. Greensboro moves to 2-2 on the season while Erie (1-4) earned its first victory of the season.
Greensboro and Erie were both bolstered by the three-point shot. The Swarm shot 15-for-43 from deep, led by Terry Henderson’s four makes. Henderson finished with 22 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and a steal in 35 minutes. Erie’s Tyler Dorsey had 20 points on the night, hitting on 6-of-9 threes. The BayHawks hit at a 54.8 mark from deep range (17-for-31).
The Swarm starting five all scored in double figures, including three players with 20-plus points – Henderson (22), L.G. Gill (21), Sam Thompson (20). The squad was actively sharing the ball with 28 assists on its 40 made shots.
Guard Brent Arrington made his Swarm debut, contributing 11 points off the bench along with two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 20 minutes.
Erie held a 63-48 halftime edge as Jeremy Hollowell scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half. Josh Magette led all scorers with 23 points, to go with his 17 assists, six rebounds, three steals and block.
