'Wolves Sweep Phils with 10-1 Win

The SeaWolves swept away the Reading Fightin Phils with a 10-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at Jerry Uht Park.4
The SeaWolves took the lead in the bottom of the second against Reading starter Severino Gonzalez when Steven Moya led off and belted an opposite-field home run, his 11th, for a 1-0 lead.
In the fourth, Devon Travis homered to left-center with one out and put the ‘Wolves ahead 2-0.
Erie added to the lead in the sixth. Jamie Johnson led off the inning with a solo home run to right, his second of the series for a 3-0 lead. Jason Krizan followed with a base hit and he scored on a Travis triple for a 4-0 lead. Travis scored on a Moya base knock making it 5-0.
The ‘Wolves continued the to swing the bats in the seventh as they added five more runs including RBI hits from Krizan and Corey Jones.
Erie starter Kyle Ryan (4-5) earned the win tossing seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits with no walks and three strikeouts.
