Former Sabre, Penguin McKee joins Otters coaching staff

The team introduced McKee on Friday afternoon.
14-year NHL veteran Jay McKee will join the Erie Otters as an assistant coach to head coach Kris Knoblauch. The club announced the move on Friday afternoon.

McKee replaces Chris Hartsburg, who is now the head coach of the USHL's Lincoln Stars.

The 36-year old McKee spent ten season with the Buffalo Sabres, three with the St. Louis Blues and one with the Pittsburgh Penguins. In Erie, he will oversee the team's defense and penalty kill.
