Jacksonville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Jacksonville Jaguars made it official on Friday and signed wide receiver Marqise Lee.
Terms of the deal for the second-round pick were undisclosed.
Lee, who was selected 39th overall, was a starter in all three of his seasons at Southern California, catching 248 passes for 3,655 yards and 29 touchdowns.
"We are excited to get Marqise's contract done as we head into training camp next week," said Jaguars general manager David Caldwell in a statement Friday. "As I said on draft day, we are fortunate to have a player like Marqise. He's a playmaker that is a threat every time he touches the ball and has a good feel for the game. He has been working extremely hard this offseason and is looking forward to getting back on the field next week."
During his sophomore season, Lee won the Biletnikoff Award for the nation's top receiver and the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year after catching 118 passes for 1,721 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Lee is the ninth and final player from the Jaguars' 2014 draft class to agree on a contract.
