Lewis Talks Keys to Improvement

PSU WR Geno Lewis working to replace Allen Robinson.
STATE COLLEGE - “Big” is the word of the day in Happy Valley.
A giant Nittany Lion logo made its way onto the side of Beaver Stadium.
There are also some huge shoes to fill on the field now that two-time Big Ten Receiver of the Year Allen Robinson is a Jacksonville Jaguar.

One of the leading candidates to step up at wide out is Geno Lewis.
The junior was at a recent Coaches Caravan stop in Scranton.
Lewis scored three touchdowns in 2013, with two coming in the season finale.
He spent the spring building a bond with QB Christian Hackenberg.

“He looked for Allen a lot last year,” Lewis says. “Now that he's gone, somebody else is going to have to step up and give him a little comfort. And I absolutely want to be that guy for him. We just want to be on the same page - know each other like a book.”

Lewis says this summer leading into fall camp will be big for building that chemistry, with all eyes focused now on the season opener on August 30th in Dublin, Ireland against Central Florida.
