Allen Park, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Lions activated second- year defensive end Ziggy Ansah from their physically unable to perform list Tuesday.

Taken fifth overall in the 2013 draft, the BYU product finished his rookie campaign with 17 tackles, eight sacks and two forced fumbles over 14 games.

Ansah had offseason shoulder surgery and had only been doing side work with team trainers since camp began.

Rookie wideout T.J. Jones is the lone Detroit player on the PUP list, still recovering from arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
