Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cincinnati Reds placed catcher Devin Mesoraco on the 15-day disabled list Saturday.
The 25-year-old, who suffered a strained left hamstring in Friday's game against the Atlanta Braves, fell down rounding third on a Billy Hamilton double. He was able to score on the play but headed right to the locker room and did not return.
Mesoraco is hitting .468 with 13 RBI, six doubles and three home runs through 13 games this season.
Cincinnati recalled catcher Tucker Barnhart from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move. He hit .250 with five RBI, four doubles, a triple and a homer through 13 games with Louisville.
