SEPTEMBER 27, 2013- A mother who lost her son to gun violence is encouraging the community to stand up and rally against bullying.
Sonya Arrington, the founder of Mothers Against Teen Violence, is hosting an anti bullying seminar tomorrow.
It will be held at East High School beginning at 9 a.m.
Arrington says the seminar will focus on four different areas: mental health, legal issues, prescription drugs and bullying as well as cyber bullying.
The event is free to the public and runs through 1 p.m. tomorrow.
Arrington says if you have not RSVPed, you can register at the door.
