Black Friday Comes Early

Shoppers make their way out to stores all through the area for "Black Thursday."
November 28, 2013 - This Thanksgiving, many shopping lovers lined up for hours to get the best deals on clothes, electronics, toys -- you name it.

This is the first year many retailers are opening their doors on Thanksgiving.

Hundreds of people waited patiently in the cold all day long, like at Toys R Us, which opened its doors at 5 pm and people lined the parking lot of the store, with some on line since 11 am.

At Best Buy, one woman and her daughter waited on line since Wednesday morning, not for anything in particular, but more so just because Black Friday shopping is a tradition.

Although it’s a tradition for some shoppers, others say this early shopping puts a wrench in Thanksgiving celebrations.
