We've just learned the Crawford County Coroner has been called to the scene. He could not say though what he was called to look at.
September 27, 2013 - The body of Gerald VanDyke is still missing after two days of searching a large wooded area in Cambridge Springs.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, VanDyke was killed by Richard Houy, 68.

We've just learned the Crawford County Coroner has been called to the scene.

He could not say though what he was called to look at.

The search on Thursday and so far on Friday didn't turn up a body.

It's a massive area of land that Pennsylvania State Police are combing with hopes to recover the VanDyke.

Wooded area, French Creek, Jarvis Swamp and Houy's home are the main areas police are searching.

Police heard two different stories from Houy and his daughter, Tina Skelton.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, Houy led Skelton to believe that VanDyke’s body, in whole or in parts, was placed in barrels or drums within the barn.

Houy told Skelton that in the last few days he had the barrels or drums removed and possibly taken to an unknown location in Meadville or possibly the Jarvis Swamp.

Meanwhile, it's a different story from the accused killer.

Houy says he drove Vandyke’s truck to the French Creek access area on Miller Station Road.

He says he put van dykes body in French Creek.

The two stories have police searching all possible locations.

Richard Houy has been charged with criminal homicide.

Houy's co-workers say they were shocked when they heard the news.

Police will continue to search throughout the weekend.
