HASSELBACK BAKED POTATOES

Bring the county fair to your dinner table with these delicious baked potatoes!
Baking potatoes
Olive oil
Salt/pepper

Toppings:

Shredded cheese
Grated Parmesan Cheese and Bread Crumb mixture (mix equal portions)
Sour cream
Green onions
Chives
Crumbled cooked bacon

DIRECTIONS:

·Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
·Line a baking dish with foil
·Wash potatoes but keep skin on
·Slice potatoes in thin slices vertically, ¾ of the way through the potato
·Place potatoes in baking dish
·Sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper
·Bake for 45-50 minutes or until potato is crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
·Baking times will vary depending on the size of the potatoes.

You can add any topping listed after 30 minutes of baking and return to the oven for 15-20 minutes to complete baking or you can add the toppings after fully baked.

VARIATIONS:

You can use a sweet potato and add brown sugar, honey and cinnamon
