A bus stop shelter is going up for residents in
Meadville who need it most, and Allegheny College art students are designing it. A group of 11 art students from Allegheny College are determined to get the bus stop for residents of the mobile home park at Asbury Manor. Many of the residents don't have transportation and depend on the bus system to take them where they need to go. The students are still collecting donations and looking forward to building the bus stop shelter at Asbury Manor. The partnership is between the college and the Crawford Area Transit Authority. CATA provides the bus that regularly stops to pick up the residents in that area. Check out our Web Extra for more details and to see how you can help.
