Snow Cleanup Underway

People, city departments hard at work to keep roads and sidewalks clean.
You know it's going to catch up to us eventually.
February 5, 2014 - Believe it or not, Erie has reached the 100 inches of snowfall mark already.

"I’m not surprised, we've had some light winters the past couple of years, so you know it's going to catch up to us eventually," said resident, Daniel Arnold.

This recent snowfall puts us well past the average for this time of year; the average is just under 70 inches.

More snow means more clean up, with people busy shoveling, and city crews working around the clock to keep the roads clean.

Streets department officials tell us that moving your cars off the street really helps with the clean up process, as well as abiding by the odd-even parking requirements.
