Take Back the Site Vigil Held For Jordan

Dozens attend vigil put together by Benedictine Sisters, Sisters of Saint Joseph, and Sisters of Mercy in memory of Stevenson Jordan, 37, and all other victims of gun violence.
December 19, 2013 - Dozens of members from the community gathered together tonight at 2320 German St, the site where Stevenson Jordan, 37, was murdered on December 1st, for a Take Back the Site Prayer Vigil.

The vigil was put together by the Benedictine Sisters, the Sisters of Saint Joseph and the Sisters of Mercy.

The vigil was a night to pray for the Jordan family, and for the family of his accused killer, Kenneth Ellis, 60.

It's also been an opportunity to "reclaim the site" where Jordan was murdered, a night to pray for all victims of violence, and a time to pray, together, for a future where a nonviolent life is a reality.
