Winter Weather Not Stopping Erie Celebrations

Party-goers not giving up on NYE celebrations because of the cold and snowy weather.
December 31, 2013 - It's New Year's Eve and here in Erie and in most of the north east it's safe to say that “baby, it's cold outside.”

Tonight's temperatures are already well below freezing, but once you factor in the wind chill it's expected to feel anywhere from 5 to zero to -5 degrees tonight.

NYE is a very popular night to head out, with some New Year's celebrations in the area selling out.

Meteorologist Tom Atkins says if you're heading out tonight, you should bundle up, with mittens, layers, and a hat, of course.

Party-goers around the area say freezing temperatures won't stop them from celebrating 2014 with a bang.
