Drug Kingpin Wants a Break from the White House

Carl Knight was convicted in 1999 and sentenced to life in prison for cocaine trafficking.
December 30, 2013- In 1999 Carl Knight began serving a life sentence after his conviction as a drug kingpin.
On December 21, supporters opened a petition on the White House website seeking 100,000 signatures to gain a possibility for a commutation of his sentence.

Knight has a 30 day window for the signatures to be gathered.

He currently has fewer than 300 signers.
