Erie Otters Team up with Other Organizations for "Coats for Kids" Drive

As cold, wintry weather hits the Erie area, the need for coats for children is great.
December 11, 2013 - It's that time of year again for the annual "Coats for Kids" drive with the Erie Otters. Fans were encouraged to bring in a lightly worn or new coat to tonight's game. After the coats are donated, Inter-Church Ministries will take the coats to The Caring Closet on Payne Ave, where families in need will be able to pick up the coats. If you'd like to donate, you can do so at Chido's Cleaners or at The Caring Place. Officials say the need for winter coats for children is especially great this year.
