Fall is in the air, and while you're outside, you may be doing some gardening specific to the season. Potratz Floral Shop & Greenhouses is home to more than 2,000 types of plants. They say perennials are great to plant anytime of year, but some are specific for Fall. It's also a good time to plant shrubbery or trees. Some plants, like hibiscus, need to be brought inside when the temperature dips to about 40 degrees. When it comes to herbs, rosemary, does well in chilly temperatures, but basil does not. Basil should be brought inside. It's also a good time of the year to trim various plants that are done blooming for the year.
