Graffiti Artists Contribute Skills to Erie

Artists from around the country came to paint the Logistics Plus wall for the third year in a row.
August 17, 2013

If you drove past Union Station today, you may have seen dozens of graffiti artists at work. Artists from around the country came to paint the Logistics Plus wall for the third year in a row. With permission from the owners, some graphic designers, tattoo artists, painters and sign makers and others, went to work. They donated their time and supplies to paint the walls and create art for the city. The organizers say Erie is a city full of pride, and the freight train culture painting is appropriate because it’s being applied on a freight train facility, in a town where freight trains are made. This is the 3rd year sponsors have painted over the wall and repainted with new art work for the city.
