Grossman Continues Term-Limit Petition Push

Erie County Executive continues to seek signatures for petition to get term-limit referendum placed on the ballot this fall.
August 5, 2013 - The county executive is continuing his push to get term limits on the fall ballot.

As the Tuesday deadline is just around the corner, Barry Grossman is pushing to get 10,000 signatures for the ballot referendum.

The community was invited to sign petitions at the Blasco Library from 4-7 this evening.

Grossman said he only needs 8,500 signatures, but he wants extra signatures as a precautionary measure.

He said the push to get term limits onto the ballot gives the community a voice.

Grossman will be accepting signatures on the ballot until 11:30am, tomorrow, in the County Executive suite in the Erie County Courthouse.
