Muscular Dystrophy Association's Junior Goodwill Ambassador passed away.
A young man who became known to Erie for his brave battle against Muscular Dystrophy has now lost that battle. 16 year old Jack Armbruster passed away overnight. Despite his challenges, Jack Armbruster was known to so many for his enthusiasm and love of life. It was 12 years ago when we were first introduced to a remarkable little boy who was the muscular dystrophy association's new junior goodwill ambassador. He would hold that title longer than anyone else and also become the Pennsylvania Junior Goodwill Ambassador. All of us involved in the telethon getting the privilege of knowing him and watching him grow up. Jack's great attitude and desire to inspire us all were obvious. Jack would remind us of the importance of facing everyday with the courage he's being remembered for tonight. Our condolences tonight go to jack's family, who we have also had the privilege of getting to know over the years. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them.
