Help your child pick out a safe costume. Make sure it is fire proof, has adequate eye holes to see all around them. Be sure to place carved pumpkins far enough away from your door step so that costumes dont accidentally catch fire from the candle. Make sure any props that you carry are flexible and have smooth edges. Be sure to plan a Halloween dinner to avoid the sweet tooth kicking in while trick or treating. Review regular rules with your kids before going trick or treating - no talking to strangers, do not get in to cars, look both ways before crossing the street.
