Staying focused on New Years Resolutions can be hard, but doable.

Year after year people make a proclamation that they will stick to their new year’s resolution. The most common commitment is losing weight, but for many its a task they never fulfill. That’s not the case for one local woman who is changing her life one step at a time. Just a few months ago, Lesley Ridge saw a picture of herself and didn't recognize the person she was looking at. Since starting her regimen in mid-September Lesley has already dropped forty pounds. She says she has already lost almost half of her target weight loss. For many committing to a plan and completing it can be hard but officials say making small changes and never giving up can change your life. Another tip is seeing the results, which can help people focus on their overall goal.
