Erie Man Pleads Guilty to Shooting Woman Outside of School

47-year-old Derrick Rowry pleaded guilty to attempted homicide in the shooting of Tamara Logan.
JANUARY 7, 2014- An Erie man accused of shooting a woman in the head near a local elementary school admits he did it.
47-year-old Derrick Rowry pleaded guilty to attempted homicide in the shooting of Tamara Logan.
Rowry told the judge today he shot Logan near McKinley Elementary School back in May.
Police say Rowry used a .22 caliber revolver during the argument outside of the school.
Rowry's sentencing is set for March 11th.
He faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years behind bars and a maximum of 27 years.
