Wife Enters Plea in Election Forgery Case

47-year-old Marni Alward pleaded guilty to one count of forgery.
JANUARY 9, 2014-  The wife of a man who was once running for judge, pleads guilty to forging his nomination petitions.
47-year-old Marni Alward pleaded guilty to one count of forgery.
Alward's husband, John Alward, was running for District Judge in western Erie County when she allegedly forged the signatures.
John later dropped out of the race because of the allegations.
Marni is facing probation to a maximum of five years in state prison.
Her sentencing is scheduled for March 20th.
