Pi 365: Winter Trails Day

If you're getting cabin fever and just waiting for a reason to get out and about, there's a Winter Trails program coming up
January 3, 2014

If you're getting cabin fever and just waiting for a reason to get out and about, there's a Winter Trails program coming up. Winter Trails Day at Presque Isle State Park is quickly approaching. On January 11th at nine, noon, three and six, park naturalists will lead four different hikes throughout Presque Isle. You can choose to do as many of the hikes as you'd like. The pace is steady, so it's perfect for families who want to take their time. The kids can do some exploring using their senses, and having a park naturalist there will enhance the experience for them. They can ask questions and analyze what they're seeing. If you'd like to attend on January 11th, no registration is required and the hikes are free. You can contact the Tom Ridge Environmental Center for details on locations, or visit www.trecpi.org for more information. TREC: 833-7424
