Suspect Arrested After Fatal Shooting

21 year old Courtney Harden has been charged in connection with a deadly weekend shooting.
A suspect has been charged tonight with homicide in connection with a deadly shooting in the city Sunday morning. According to Erie police 21 year old Courtney Harden of Erie turned himself into police around 7:30 this evening with an attorney, that happened not long after investigators had obtained an arrest warrant for Harden. This comes two days after the shooting happened. 26 year old Rashid Anderson was attending a private party on the second floor of the former East Erie Turner building on Parade Street when gunfire broke out early Sunday morning. Anderson died while undergoing treatment at UPMC Hamot. Three other people were shot, their injuries were non life threatening. Harden is charged with homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, possession of instruments of crime and firearms not to be carried without a license. He is being held in the Erie County Prison without bond.
