Tom DiVecchio has forecasted Erie weather for over 25 years, 21 of them with WJET/WFXP. He does the weather for Good Morning Erie, Good Day Erie, and Jet24 Action News at Noon. He's also an adjunct instructor of meteorology for Mercyhurst University and Jamestown Community College. He's also worked in North Carolina and New York state.

Tom received his AMS Seal of Approval in 1998. He is also a member of the National Weather Association. Tom is best known in Erie for his school visits and other work with kids. Since starting at JET 24, he has over 700 school visits. He's visited over 60,000 students in that time.

Tom was also co-host of the popular kids show, Clubhouse , which aired for 7 years on Saturday mornings. When he is not talking about weather to the kids, you can often find him involved in many kids programs around the Erie region.

Tom is a lifelong resident of Erie, and truly enjoys living and working here. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Rose and their two teenage children. He also enjoys jogging, softball, and reading.
