The Meadville City Police Department, working with agents from the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Drug Task Force, arrested two suspects today for allegedly operating a mobil meth lab in the city of Meadville.
Arrested were 32-year-old Devanie Marie Coudriet and 23-year-old Ashley Stewart. Coudriet has been charged with operating a methamphetamine laboratory, manufacture of methamphetamine, liquefied ammonia gas; precursors and chemicals, causing or risking a catastrophe, criminal conspiracy to commit the manufacture of methamphetamine and criminal conspiracy to commit liquefied ammonia gas; precursors and chemicals.
Stewart is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit liquefied ammonia gas; precursors and chemicals.
Police received a tip that a possible meth lab was being operated out of a parked white van. When the van was located, in was moving but subsequently stopped inside city limits. The two suspects were arraigned before magistrate William Chisholm and the van was taken to the Meadville Police Department and cleared by the PA State Police Clandestine Lab Response Team.
