Two People Injured After Car, Snowplow Accident

a Summit Township plow was involved

An accident involving a Summit Township plow sent two people to the hospital.

According to police, the plow was heading south on Route 99 just after 6:30 this morning when it attempted to make a left hand turn.
An oncoming northbound car lost control and slammed into the plow, sending the car over an embankment.

Two people in the car were taken to UPMC Hamot.

One of the victims was trapped in the car for several minutes.

Their names and conditions have not been released
state police are handling the investigation
