A cold front is setting off snow showers tonight, with some lake effect bands developing in the snow belts later this evening. Accumulations will be on the light side, especially in Erie with some higher amounts in the snowbelts.  Friday, the snow tapers off with another round of light snow possible Friday night and that will usher in warmer weather for the weekend.
