Today a local business owner decided to deliver a free lunch, (including pizza, salad and drinks), to the TSA and air traffic control workers at the airport. Doug MacArthur, owner of Brooklyn Pizza says, it's just a simple way to say thanks to these hard working people.

The ninth annual Dr. King Awards Dinner was held Saturday night at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Center. The dinner began at 6 p.m., with a program following to celebrate this year's community award recipients.
Many museums start off by collecting as much as possible. But eventually, their collections grow so big that they must eliminate what matters the least. The Erie County Historical Society is dealing with 120 years-worth of donations of heirlooms from local families. Becky Weiser, currator for the Historical Society says, "Because we have so much and in the past there wasn't the space to care for things properly, many things have deteriorated."
The 18th annual Stars and Stripes Gymnastics Invintational is being held at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center this weekend. The three-day event started Friday, featuring both men and women's gymastics events. The invintational's main event will feature both the top men and women's athletes competing simultaneously - side by side.
