Golden Apple Award 10/24/2018 – Mrs. Stacey Hodinko

Golden Apple Award

We didn’t have to travel far to find this week’s outstanding school teacher.  Our Golden Apple Award Winner is a first-grade teacher here in Summit Township.  Lou Baxter has our presentation…

Stacey Hodinko is a first-grade teacher at Robison Elementary School, and she’s always wanted to be a school teacher, “ever since I was a little” wanting to “give them the world”.

Mrs. Hodinko was nominated by Seamus Clark and his parents.  A fourth grader who wouldn’t have survived first grade without the love and support of his teacher.  “I wasn’t doing very well,” he tells us, but Stacey got him “back to straight-A’s”.

Stacey goes the “extra mile to make a difference”.  That’s what sets apart the Golden Apple teacher from all the others.

Congratulations, Stacey Hodinko, this week’s JET 24 Edinboro University Golden Apple Award Winner!
