JET 24 Meteorologist Tom Atkins was on the road Saturday talking with parents and kids about weather from Northwestern and Springfield Elementary Schools.
Tom spoke to kids from the Mercyhurst Early Learning Innovation Academy from kindergarten to second grade.
He spoke to the kids about clouds, weather radius along with the albion tornado.
Students also got the chance to use a rain gauge.
