2 assistant district attorneys leave office

Local News

Two longtime prosecutors are no longer working for the Erie County District Attorney.

District Attorney Jack Daneri confirmed on Friday that Lisa Ferrick and Nathan Strausser, both veteran assistant district attorneys, are no longer employed at the office.

This comes just days after another assistant district attorney, Matthew Cullen, was charged with grabbing an officer’s gun during an incident Monday morning.

Cullen remains as an employee within the office.

Daneri would not comment on why Ferrick and Strausser are not in his office or if he is looking to fill the positions.
