2018 city budget passes unanimously

Erie City Council is poised to pass the 2018 budget at its next meeting. 

The spending plan has been approved by all council members and is on next week’s agenda for a final vote.  Council President, Casimir Kwitowski, says there were no additions or subtractions to the budget and they are happy to pass it without a tax increase. “Going forward, I would remind people that it is a struggle every year and there is some ominous signs out there that we are going to have to address.”

The final vote happening at next week’s council meeting Wednesday night at 7:30.
