Controversy surrounded Monday’s graduation ceremony at Our Lady’s Christian School after three students were suspended for sending inappropriate pictures, but were allowed to graduate.
School officials became aware of the inappropriate pictures on Snapchat May 23.
The three students were suspended and missed their eighth-grade class trip on May 31.
However, because the pictures were not sent during schools hours, or on school grounds, the decision was made to allow the three to graduate.
In a written statement, school leaders told Action News that they have a “serious concern for this type of behavior and will address any future issues quickly.”
